We are Lobsang and Tsering, two Tibetan immigrants who came from two different countries (Nepal and India) that met in Utah in 1992 and started our family in 1994. We have two children who were born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, that have both gone on to graduate from college and begin their professional careers. As a family we like to take any opportunity we can to hike, travel, and explore new places. So far we have visited over 10 National Parks and hope to visit many more. We often embrace our spiritual background by visiting blessed Buddhist pilgrimage sites in countries like India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

The two of us started attending local Utah street festivals on and off for more than 25 years on the side of our regular jobs. In what first began as another source of income during struggling times after shortly immigrating to America, we found the aspects of telling our story, sharing our culture, and teaching others about love and compassion to be highly enjoyable and fulfilling. We have been grateful to be in the US because of the opportunities given and the loving and kind people that we get to interact with. Some of these interactions consist of teaching others who are curious to know more about topics, such as meditation, whenever they come to our booth. We aren’t experts but we try to share to the best of our knowledge whenever people want to know more.
